Some Sad Facts About Gym Goers:

  • Only 20% of people who are members of a typical gym actually use their membership.
  • Most large fitness clubs operate on a pure volume model and have 8000+ members.

Because only twenty percent of their members actually use the facility, they can keep their rates lower because they actually don’t have to service all those people.

Personal Trainers Help Drive Business in Just 5 Minutes!

Have personal trainers on your staff who are too busy to help drive business for your facility? Have personal trainers who don’t know where to start to help drive business to your facility? Have them try this VERY SIMPLE and non-invasive way to market to their current clients and possibly help recruit new clients! It will only take 5 minutes.

Our Fitness & Training Director sent this email to her staff and asked them to pass it along to their group training clients and/or their personal training clients. It is as simple as cutting and pasting the email and pushing “send.” Give them the tools and the idea and soon you will have emails out to almost all of your current clients and they will know about the events you have coming up at your facility. Maybe they will even bring friends!

Mix In Monthly Program Updates

Clients that come see you for 1 on 1 personal training a couple times a week are the best kinds to get, but not all clients (or potential clients) can, want or need to see you that often. It is a good idea to try to fill the open time slots in your/your staff’s schedule by encouraging clients to see a personal trainer once a month for program updates. How do you encourage that type of client to sign up with you? Send them some of the information below. What better way to encourage folks to come see you than by educating them on WHY it is so important?

Generate Revenue With a Running Program

Consider this. With each running stride, your body is forced to absorb impact forces as great as 3x your body weight. So if you weigh 150 pounds, imagine 450 pounds of force pounding through your muscles, bones, ligaments and tendons with each foot strike. You can imagine that over the course of a five-mile run, the amount of force the body absorbs is tremendous. Due to the nature of the sport, specific imbalances and areas of weakness can result. Flash Sale Success

Hey Fit Pros! We just ran a 1 day “Spring Break” flash sale for our 10 class punch cards for our group training classes.

We were looking for a way to boost sales and increase interest in our group training classes.

So here is what I did:

  • Created the flier below
  • Scheduled a couple social media posts
  • Scheduled a couple eNewsletters to promote the flash sale
  • Emailed our team announcing the flash sale, gave them the flier, asked them to promote to their clients and to share our social media posts
  • Posted the flier around our studio
