Host Events: Get & Keep More Clients

We always have lots of fun events, adventures and clinics for our clients to sign up for. Some of them are free clinics and some are events and adventures that our clients pay for. All of these events keep our clients active, happy and engaged in our business. They also bring in new clients and potential new clients and extra revenue! Hosting fun events and adventures is a win/win for everyone!

We encourage and remind our trainers to share these events and adventures with their clients and we want to make it easy for them to do so. All of our events are listed both on our website and on our Facebook page. Having the events listed on our Facebook page makes it easy for our trainers to share the events with friends and share in their status updates.

Bathroom Ads? Why Not?

It is getting progressively more difficult to capture the attention of our clients and potential new clients when trying to advertise our services. The amount of social media and email notices we each get in a day can be overwhelming and that often means we miss things or don’t have the time to read each message carefully. Good news? You have a captive audience right there in your studio and at other local businesses. Yep, in the bathrooms.

Do you place ads on the doors of your bathrooms or on the wall behind the urinals at your studio or fitness facility? If you don’t, you should! Talk about a captive audience.

We create fliers for all of our current events, seminars, specials, holiday closures etc. and place them around the studio, and that includes the doors of the bathrooms. Convert Group Clients to Personal Training Clients

At Northwest Personal Training all of our group fitness instructors are also personal trainers at our studio and this set up is a win/win for everyone. Our group fitness clients get high quality instructors who are also personal trainers and can bring their extra expertise to the group setting. Having our personal trainers teach our group fitness classes is a win for our business and here is why….

Personal trainers who are also skilled group fitness instructors have a very easy time of growing their personal training business. It makes sense. If you’re teaching a class to 20, 30, 50 or more participants… are in the spotlight. If group fitness clients regularly attend your classes, and they’re thinking about consulting with a trainer, they will most likely come to you because they already know and trust you. Try running this super easy and fun contest to get clients to tell you all about their inspiring stories! This contest also works to get NEW clients. They can tell their inspiring story to win 1 year of group training.

How It Works:

Northwest Personal Training will choose the most inspirational story (at the beginning of Nov) and that individual will be awarded complimentary Group Training classes for themselves for one year (Group Training membership is not transferable). Everyone who completes this process is a WINNER and will be provided a FREE Trial Pass for 1 Initial PT session & 2 weeks of Group classes for submitting their story that they can use if they are not currently a client or gift to someone else!

Details – Running A Weight Loss Challenge

Planning and executing a weight loss challenge can be daunting, but the payout can be HUGE if you do it right. So, how do we execute our yearly 6 week weight loss challenge that typically brings in $15k – $20k in extra revenue?

Our Spring Makeover Challenge details…how it works!:

  • Participants register in advance for a variety of different program options based on their needs. For example, some people just want the friendly competition and that is enough to motivate them to do what they need to do so they pay only $47 to enroll. Others want more private instruction and will enroll in the program that includes personal training two times per week for $997.
